Today, in Franklin Graham’s lair (FB Page), I saw he posted another diatribe on abortion. I posted that the abrahamic god is not pro-life and cited several passages where god kills children, women, and men.
More than that though, this same god demands his people kill women, children and men. A woman responded to me… She said that god can do whatever he wants with his creation.
So if god wants to send a rapist to our homes and rape and molest us, that’s ok? If god wants to burn your children alive for a chuckle, that’s ok?
This is very chilling as a thought process. This woman goes with it. Sure, god’s a villain, but he can do whatever he wants with us. But she missed the point. Like most Christians, Cheryl suffers from a lack of logic and reason. Instead she obeys what’s told to her, and doesn’t ever think for herself.
Cheryl says “god is the creator, he can do what he wants with his creation.” This was a response to me saying “god is not pro-life…” and citing evidence of that. Her point never even addressed mine, she skirted the point entirely….
Maybe Cheryl will read this… This is the logic:
Logic: If god killed children (unborn or born), and god had his “people” kill women and children, then god is not pro-life.
Getting into the whole “we’re under the grace of Jesus…” doesn’t apply to this discussion. To gain the “grace of Jesus,” one has to accept it. Many people do not. I do not. Therefore it’s a moot point of attempted distraction.
Can Cheryl rectify this? Regardless if god can do what he will with his creation, he obviously is not pro-life. Never has been, never will.
