Biblical Violence

Many new converts are unaware of the vile in the bible, passages demanding murder, butchery and rape. The christian faith distracts new converts from knowing about these passages. In time, the passages may come up, but by then the new convert has become a full blown brainwashed member, incapable of reason or logic.

Below are several passages from the bible. These passages showcase how god felt about violence and the use of death, as a means of control.

Passages

The following passages detail a variety of crimes done in the name of “god” or “god’s law”:

Killing those who Work on Sunday

14 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

15 Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.

Exodus 31:14-15

Killing Children in the Name of ‘god’

14 Moses was angry with the officers of the army—the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds—who returned from the battle.

15 “Have you allowed all the women to live?” he asked them. 16 “They were the ones who followed Balaam’s advice and enticed the Israelites to be unfaithful to the Lord in the Peor incident, so that a plague struck the Lord’s people. 17 Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, 18 but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man.

Numbers 31:14-18

Killing Children who Curse their Parents

“‘Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death. Because they have cursed their father or mother, their blood will be on their own head.

Leviticus 20:9

Killing the Cheater

10 “‘If a man commits adultery with another man’s wife—with the wife of his neighbor—both the adulterer and the adulteress are to be put to death.

Leviticus 20:10

Burning a Daughter Alive

9 “If a priest’s daughter defiles herself by becoming a prostitute, she disgraces her father; she must be burned in the fire.”

Leviticus 21:9

To the Apologists

Christian apologists will claim that these verses stem from the “old testament,” and with that they dismiss it. Convenient, especially considering that most evangelical christians will cite the old testament when it judges someone else (such as those who are gay), but when these verses come up they quickly attest that we are “under the new covenant of Jesus.”

To such people, I ask… then do you feel these verses are out of tune with your world outlook? If so, then I ask you to rip out these pages from your bible and burn them.

Just start with these pages. Burn out that which you don’t agree to.
